  Help during the Summer Holidays

Summer Camps

Wigan Council has received government funding from the DFE for a programme to ensure that children on Benefit Related Free School Meals in Wigan Borough have access to activities and food throughout the school holiday period. The key outcome for the programme is engagement with the children through the provision of face to face activities that include physical activity, sport, healthy eating advice and are complimented with the provision of food.

Attached are a full list of summer activities and how they can be booked. (Click in parent letters - July letters)

You can call 01942 828812 and the staff will be happy to help. The phone lines are open Monday - Friday 9:00am – 6:30pm.

Please note the camps are available for children and young people who are aged 5-15 years who are eligible for benefit related free school meals and will be offered on a first come, first served basis.

Magic Breakfast

If you signed up for the Magic Breakfast's 'Summer Breakfast Scheme' and there is an issue with delivery please call them on 020 7836 5434.
