Easter Baking!

This week in Year 4, we have been baking all kinds of treats to celebrate the Easter Holidays! We split our class into three groups and made three distinct desserts to suit anyone’s palate. Our first  group made Mini Egg chocolate bark! We smashed some Mini Eggs into tiny pieces with a rolling pin and spread them on a baking tray for a bottom layer crunch. Then we spread melted chocolate over the top of the Mini Eggs before adding another layer of Mini Eggs on top. We then put it in the fridge to set!

Next we made Easter Nest Cakes and made mini egg cupcakes. We did this by following a simple cup cake recipe and then added chocolate Rice Krispies and cornflakes to make a nest and topped with mini eggs. Please take a look at the photos below.
